PATNA: Two people were arrested after two bodies were found in Pippan area of Patna on Tuesday, police said.
According to the police, the bodies have been identified as Vimal Kumar (32) and Chanu Kumar (28) and both are property dealers. “The bodies were found in pieces sealed in gunpowder bags from the main accused’s house,” police said.
Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) MS Dillon said that the families of both the deceased claimed in their statement that they had gone to the main accused’s house on Monday evening to discuss the land dispute, but they Didn’t come back. “Based on their statement, the police raided the house of the main accused, who is absconding, and recovered the bodies,” the SSP said.
Raids are being conducted to arrest the main accused. A land dispute is suspected to be behind the incident,” said the SSP.
Meanwhile, in another incident, former district councilor Rakesh Kumar Sharma alias Gudu Sharma (36) was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his Saket apartment on Gola Road under Rupaspur police station.
“Police have recovered a licensed pistol from the spot. Patna SSP said that an investigation has been started to find out the reason behind the incident.
