Patna, November 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) On Friday afternoon, a trader was killed when two assailants opened fire at a shop in Karbigahia wholesale market adjacent to Patna Junction. Both shooters were caught and beaten before being handed over to the police.

The deceased has been identified as Rahul Kumar, a grocery trader from Jakanpur. According to eyewitnesses, he was on his way to his shop when he was not targeted but targeted.


The victim was taken to Paras Hospital in Rajabazar where doctors declared him brought dead. He suffered a bullet wound on his chest.

Local businessmen claimed that a van was parked outside the biscuit agency and its driver got into an argument with Bunty Kumar, the owner of the agency. The traders also accused Bunty Kumar of calling the shooters.

“There was firing in this market six months ago and it has been repeated today. We have repeatedly requested the local police to increase patrolling but they are not serious about it. Traders are in fear and they are moving from Bihar. Thinking about. We have closed our shops to protest the incident,” said another trader.

Agitated traders blocked the busy pasture and also blocked the flyover, leading to massive traffic jams on adjacent roads.

The Patna police claimed to have arrested two persons after the incident but did not reveal their names and real motive.

After this incident, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijay Sinha visited the scene and targeted the Nitish Kumar government.
