CBI has arrested CGM of Patna NHAI in bribery case. | Techy Kings

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday booked NHAI’s Chief General Manager (CGM) and Regional Officer, Patna along with two employees of a private company for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. Arrested on charges.

A case has been registered against Sudre Alam, CGM, NHAI, Regional Office, Patna and others, including DGM, NHAI, Patna, a senior CBI officer said. The official said that searches are being conducted at eight different places belonging to the accused.

Cash worth Rs 60 lakh was also found from Alam’s house.

After the raid, all the accused will be produced in the competent court.
