Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) has resumed services at its Rural Health Center in Pohir village in an effort to provide quality healthcare services to people living in rural areas.

Although there was quite a large number of visits to the OPD at the center, few women came for treatment and consultation.

It was desired that the women living in the villages of Pohir near the rural health center would be able to reach good health care services and it was decided to establish a mobile health clinic.

Now National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited has agreed to provide Rs 35 crore. rupees under corporate social responsibility (CSR) to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) to set up this mobile clinic in rural areas especially to provide health services to women. in the villages.

October 30 Dayanand Medical College and Hospital and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Limited signed an MoU for the same at NTPC office in Noida.

This effort by Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) and NTPC will benefit women in rural areas who rarely visit medical facilities for their routine health problems.
