“Advanced Mobile Cyber Defense”

in 2017 Founded by François d’Ormesson and Jean Michel Henrard, Dust Mobile offers a secure mobile cyber defense solution. The company claims its product is the first to provide security for life-critical mobile communications against online threats related to handovers, signaling protocols (SS7, Diameter, GTP, SIP, Camel, etc.) and vulnerabilities in cellular mobile networks.

Dust Mobile offers its users end-to-end coverage, protection, detection, real-time attack warning and automated countermeasures. The solution protects against attacks against mobile cellular networks and SIM card attacks thanks to SIM Cybercell technology that adapts to any connected device or application. As a result, it effectively completes the cyber ecosystem and mobile security chain.

The startup currently offers a high level of resilience and security to organizations and governments in 214 countries and territories by partnering with more than 684 mobile operators worldwide. Its customers are mainly located in Europe and North America.

Dust Mobile is a member of the international telecommunications organizations ITU, GSMA, 3GPP, ETSI, RIPE and in particular the GSMA Security & Fraud and ITU SG17 groups. Most recently, the company joined the Cercle de l’Arbalète.

Use of capital

Dust Mobile says it will use the funds to accelerate its expansion in Europe and abroad, strengthen its operational and commercial resources, and implement new services for a better customer experience, while developing its technological edge and competitive advantages.

Co-founder Jean Michel Henrard says: “We are excited about this new phase of accelerating our development. Cyber defenses are very limited when it comes to attacks against interoperator transmission and signaling. These increasingly sophisticated attacks enable remote mobile interception, real-time geolocation of equipment, targeted denial of service, and digital identity theft without users being detected. The support of our funds will enable companies and governments to protect themselves more effectively.
