MUMBAI : IndusInd Bank Tuesday announced that it has been awarded at the ‘Governance Now 5th India BFSI Conclave & Awards’ under the category — ‘SME Connect’ for starting ‘Indus Credit for Business’.

The award recognizes the Bank’s excellent journey in supporting the SME ecosystem and promoting digital financial inclusion in the country by offering credit to SMEs digitally through the ‘Indus easy credit stack for business’.

The award was received by Charu Sachdeva Mathur, head – Digital Banking and Strategy (Existing Business), IndusInd Bank.

Awards won under the category – ‘SME Connect’ to start ‘Indus Credit for Business’ announced on 12 October 2022.

Governance Now 5th India BFSI Conclave & Awards 2022 recognizes the contribution made by the BFSI and Fintech sectors in developing and incorporating digital finance in the country. It recognizes the best solutions made possible by emerging technologies that guarantee the continuity and resilience of the industry.

With ‘Indus easy credit stack for business’, Indian MSMEs can apply for credit digitally and receive collateral-free loans from banks up to 20 lakhs instantly into their bank accounts.

The platform enables customers to leverage non-traditional digital information such as banking data, GST and reimbursement bureaus and new age scorecards for quick and easy access to financing for the MSME segment for loans between 2 lakh to 2 Crore.

IndusInd Bank, which commenced operations in 1994, caters to both consumer and corporate customers. Its technology platform supports multi-channel delivery capabilities.

As of June 30, 2022, IndusInd Bank has Branches / Banking Branches and ATMs spread across the country’s geographical locations. The bank also has representative offices in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
