LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–To further support the ongoing work of International SOS to help organizations fulfill their responsibilities of care, International SOS has launched a new learning module, Information security and privacy for mobile workersin your Digital Learning Portfolio (DLP).
The global SOS digital learning portfolio is constantly being developed and expanded to help organizations navigate the ever-changing landscape of global mobility. This new course is designed to help employees understand the critical role they play in reducing the likelihood of an information security breach while traveling.
The course content includes examples of:
the different methods cybercriminals use to try to access networks and devices,
guidance on how to protect yourself from these methods, and
how to prepare the workforce for potential off-site threats.
International SOS has created this new email learning module in collaboration with the BSI Digital Trust Consulting Services team. It’s designed to give employees the knowledge they need to protect their valuable data and stay safe by practicing safe online behavior.
Laurent Fourier, CEO of Health & Safety Subscription Services, commented: “We live in a world where many of us are more dependent than ever on digital services and this dependence comes with an element of risk, especially when on the go. Investors and clients are now increasingly taking responsibility for their duty of care to their employees, and rightly so. This new email the learning module has been designed to enhance the support we already provide to our customers to help them protect their workforce by equipping employees with the knowledge and skills to stay safe from cybercrime while on the go.
Mark Brown, Digital Trust Consulting, BSI Global Managing Director, commented: “We are delighted to be working with International SOS on this project. As the UK’s national standards body, BSI has been at the forefront of developing and implementing best practice for over 120 years. We are delighted to combine BSI’s digital trust and risk management expertise with International SOS’s physical security expertise to provide our customers with invaluable advice on how to protect themselves against digital risks while on the move.
The module is initially available in English, with French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean and Japanese versions coming in the coming months. It was released with a new template that provides solutions to better support web content accessibility guidelines. It takes less than 10 minutes and can be registered from the Digital Learning Folders through the international SOS Learning Portal.
