Ranchi, Nov 18: The Jharkhand High Court on Friday expressed its grief over the mismanagement of the state-run super specialty hospital Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
A Division Bench consisting of Chief Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujeet Ranjan Prasad, orally observed that it should be unfortunate that mobile phones have to be pawned to ride a wheelchair in the institute.
The observation was made during the hearing of PILs related to various issues related to RIMS, including the appointment of class four employees.
During the hearing of the application regarding the appointment of the fourth class of RIMS, the court said that due to the mistakes made in the new advertisement, a commission of inquiry will be formed and the guilty officials will be identified. During the hearing, RIMS also admitted that there was an error in the new advertisement.
