9 research scholars from IIT Patna received PMRF.
Nine research scholars from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna) have been selected for the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) for the May 2022 cycle. Of the nine research scholars at IIT Patna, two are from chemistry, computer science and physics, while one each is from mechanical, electrical and mathematics.
Rashi Aditi Ranjan is from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Joydev Saha and Priyanka Sharma from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mathematics. Shruti Saxena and Subham Raj from Computer Science and Engineering, Mansi Aggarwal and Arnab Patla from Chemistry and Priyanka Dubey and Priyanka Priya Darshan Samal from the Department of Physics have been awarded the Prime Minister Research Fellowship for the May 2022 session. has been selected for Out of the total nine research scholars from IIT Patna shortlisted for PMRF, six are female scholars and three are male scholars.
The fellowship amount in PMRF is Rs 70,000 per month for the first two years, followed by Rs 75,000 per month for the third year and Rs 80,000 per month in the fourth and fifth years. During the fellowship, research scholars will also be eligible for a Research Contingency Grant of Rs 2 lakh per annum (a total of Rs 10 lakh for five years).
