Social media reacts to Texas’ statement win over Kansas | Techy Kings

It’s been a huge week for Texas Longhorns athletics. Usually, that’s a sign of football success in November, but the basketball team got a lot of the shine this week.

For the fourth time in school history, the Texas basketball team posted a victory over a No. 2 team in the AP poll. Not to be outdone, Sarkisian’s squad swept the field with Kansas to end the week.

Despite the return of one-time Heisman hopeful quarterback Jalon Daniels, the Jayhawks’ offense was missing in action Saturday. A 14-yard touchdown pass from Daniels to Torry Locklin gave Kansas its first points of the game with 1:55 left in the third quarter.

Bijan Robinson was the story for Texas. The quarterback rushed for 243 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries.

Let’s look at what Twitter users took away from Texas’ funeral of Kansas.

Finding their rhythm

Kansas has the culture OU talks about having

No mercy

Time to let off the gas

Bullish with Bijan

Keeping it simple

High percentage throws

Kwiatkowski has built up his defense

Feels like 2005

Where has Bijan’s touch been?

Sark learns

Make it official
