Jamshedpur, October 31: Train travel between Tatanagar and Patna may soon become more convenient for passengers as the Railway Department is all set to convert the existing coaches into Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches designed for high speed and Equipped with better security features.

The existing Indian Coach Factory (ICF) coaches of the Tata-Dhanbad Swarnrekha Express will be converted into LHB coaches, sources said. A similar change will take place in the Dhanbad-Patna-Dhanbad Damodar Express. Railways has decided to connect the two trains. Several coaches of Swarnrekha Express will be connected to Damodar Express on reaching Dhanbad from Tata and sent to Patna. Similarly, coaches of Damodar Express will be sent to Tata as Swarnrekha Express on reaching Dhanbad, sources said.

Sources said that Swarnrekha Express will run with 22 coaches with eight sleeper bogies, six third AC, two second AC and three general coaches.
