TD Bank names new commercial market president for South/Coastal NJ | Techy Kings


TD Bank announced last week that it appointed Gregory Carlisle as its commercial market president for South Jersey/Coastal New Jersey. Carlisle replaces Robert Curley III, following his move to president of the Metro Pennsylvania and New Jersey region.

In this role, Carlisle will lead the local Commercial and Small Business banking team and portfolio of clients throughout Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Cape May, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Camden and Burlington counties while working with TD’s specialized business lending and consumer teams to grow . customer relations in the market. Carlisle will also direct local TD sponsorship and community giving.

Carlisle is a 22-year veteran of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania local banking community. He joined TD Bank in 2014 as vice president of the Gloucester/Cumberland/Salem region, where he led his team to increase market share in each county.

“Greg is a trusted advisor to a large and diverse portfolio of local clients, and his expertise and extensive experience in commercial and small business banking will greatly enable TD’s continued growth in this key market,” said Curley. “His balance of empathy and business acumen will position him well to lead one of TD’s largest markets, including our bank’s headquarters region.”

Carlisle serves the community by volunteering on various non-profit boards. Most recently, he held the position of chief volunteer officer for the Gloucester County YMCA, and he sits on the board of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Finance Committee.

Prior to joining TD, Carlisle built and managed commercial teams at financial institutions in the mid-Atlantic including HSBC Bank, Washington Mutual/JPMorgan Chase and Wachovia Bank (Wells Fargo). His commercial banking experience includes roles in small business, commercial mortgage, commercial & industrial lending and global trade finance.
