GO-VAXX Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Coming to McMaster Campus Tuesday, September 27th.
As the pandemic continues, public health officials are urging everyone to keep their COVID-19 vaccinations up-to-date because they can protect against serious illness from COVID-19.
The clinic is open to McMaster students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the Hamilton community.
This clinic comes as the Ontario government begins offering bivalent enhancer of COVID-19 dose for all Ontarians age 18 and older.
Children under the age of five cannot be vaccinated at GO-VAXX clinics. For information on vaccination options for children aged six months to five years, visit City of Hamilton Public Health website.
The GO-VAXX clinic will provide:
- Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, including boosters, is for adults and youth 12 years of age and older
- Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, including boosters, is for children 5 to 11 years of age
- Bivalent mRNA COVID-19 booster for all eligible populations (all Ontarians over the age of 18 will be eligible for bivalent COVID-19 boosters from September 26th).
Visits to the clinic can be booked through provincial reservation portall or by calling the provincial Immunization Contact Center at 1-833-943-3900.
Admission will be subject to availability.
Bring your Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) and/or University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) card with you to the clinic. International students, please bring physical, paper copies of previous immunizations from other countries.
The clinic comes after other COVID-19 vaccine clinics held on the McMaster campus in recent months have received an overwhelming response from the community.

GO-VAXX mobile clinics are offered in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Metrolinx. GO buses have been converted into mobile vaccine clinics, and all clinics are fully accessible.
